Kalabeda, kola beda, husiya nudiyalu beda
Muniya beda, anyarige asahya padabeda
Thanna bannisabeda, idira haliyalu beda
Ide antaranga shuddhi, ide bahiranga shuddhi
Ide namma koodala sangamanolisuva pari.
Translation in English:
Don’t rob, Don’t kill, Never ever lie
Don’t get angry, Don’t think negative about others
Don’t self describe, Don’t tease others
This is the way of self-respect, this is the way to get respected by the world.
This is the way of impressing my lord Koodala sangama deva.
Ullavaru shivalayava maaduvaru nanenu madali badavanayya
enna kale kamba dehave degula shirave honna kalasavayya
koodala sangamadeva kelayya sthavarkkalivuntu jangamakkalivilla
Translation in English:
The rich will make temples for Shiva. What shall I, a poor man, do?
My legs are pillars, The body the shrine, The head a cupola of gold.
Listen, O lord Koodala Sangama deva, things standing shall fall, but the moving will never perish.

ಆನು ಮುಂದುಗ ಟ್ ಟನಯ್ಾಾ,
ಆನು ಹ ೂರಳಿ ಬೇಳುತ್ತಿದ ೆನಯ್ಾಾ
‘ಓಂ ನಮಃಶಿವಾಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಮಂತರವ ಜಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ ೆನಯ್ಾಾ!
ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗನ ಶರಣರು ಬಂದು
ಹ ೂೇ ಅಂಜದಿರ ಂದಡಾನು ಬದುಕ್ುವ ನು.
When the serpent of the worldly life has bitten me,
Poison called desire of five elements of my body rise up.
There was no stepping further.
I fall down agonizing and say the mantra ‘Om Namah Shivaya’.
When the sharanas of Kudalasanga appear
And tell me not to fear I become whole!
ಎನನ ಮನದಲಲ ಮತ ೂಿತಂದರಿಯೆನಯ್ಾಾ!
‘ಓಂ ನಮಶಿವಾಯ’, ‘ಓಂ ನಮಶಿವಾಯ’ ಎನುತ್ತದ ಮನ !
ಎನಗಿದ ೇ ಮಂತರ, ಎನಗಿದ ೇ ತಂತರ, ಎನಗಿದ ೇ ಜಪ್!
ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗಮ ದ ೇವಾ, ನೇನ ಬಲ ಲ ಎಲ ಲಂಗವ ೇ!
There is none other in my mind,
I repeat ‘Om Namah Shivaya’, ‘Om Namah Shivaya’
This is my Mantra, This is my device, This is my Chant!
Kudala Sangama Deva, only you know it, O Linga!

ನೇರಿಗ ನ ೈದಿಲ ಶ ಂಗಾರ
ಸಮುದರಕ ತ ರ ಯೆ ಶ ಂಗಾರ
ನಾರಿಗ ಗುಣವ ಶ ಂಗಾರ
ಗಗನಕ ಚಂದರಮ ಶ ಂಗಾರ
ನಮಮ ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ ಸಂಗನ ಶರಣರ
ನ ೂಸಲಗ ವಭೂತ್ತಯೆ ಶ ಂಗಾರ
For water, Lily is decoration,
For ocean, waves are decoration,
For woman, her virtue is decoration,
For the sky, Moon is decoration,
For devotees of our Kudalasangamadeva,
Vibhuti ( Sacred Ash) on forehead is decoration.

ಅಷಟವಧಾಚಮನ ಷ ೂೇಡಶ ೇಪ್ಚಾರವ ಮಾಡುವುದು
ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ೂಜ ಯ ನ ೂೇಡುವುದಯಾ
ಶಿವ ತತವ ಗಿೇತವ ಹಾಡುವುದು
ಶಿವನ ಮುಂದ ನಲದಾಡುವುದಯಾ
ಭಕ್ತಿ ಸಂಭಾಷಣ ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದು
ನಮಮ ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗನ ಕ್ೂಡುವುದು
Offer eight types of worship, perform the sixteen-fold rites,
Observe with happy heart, and delight in your worship,
Sing the anthems of Shiva’s principles,
Dance in the presence of Shiva,
Make pious conversation,
and be one with our Lord Kudalasanga!
ಹ ೂತುಿಹ ೂೇಗದ ಮುನನ , ಮ ತುಾವಯಾದ ಮುನನ
ತ ೂತುಿಗ ಲ ಸವಮಾಡು ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗಮದ ೇವನ!
Get up at dawn and bring water and Bilva leaves,
And worship Linga before it is too late!
Who cares for you once the time is past!
Before the time runs out, before death carries you,
Do humble service to Lord Kudalasangama!
ಎಲ ಮಾನವ, ಅಳಿಯ್ಾಸ ಬ ೇಡವೇ
ಕಾಲ್ ಬ ಳದಿಂಗಳು ಸಿರಿ ಸಿಿರವಲ್ಲ!
ಕ ೇಡಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ದವ,
ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗಮದ ೇವಯಾನ ಮರ ಯದ ಪ್ೂಜಿಸು !
Hey you, the human being,
Do not run after mean desires,
For time, moonlight, wealth, lasts not!
For unblemished ever lasting status,
Worship Kudalasangamadeva without forgetting!
ಸುಪ್ರಭಾತ ಸಮಯದಲಲ ಅರ್ಥಮಯಲಲ ಲಂಗವ ನ ನ ದಡ ,
ತಪ್ುುವುವು ಅಪ್ಮ ತುಾ ಕಾಲ್-ಕ್ಮಮಂಗಳಯಾ !
ದ ೇವಪ್ೂಜ ಯಮಾಟ್ , ದುರಿತಬಂಧನದ ೂೇಟ್ !
ಶಂಭು ನಮಮಯನ ೂೇಟ್ , ಹಂಗದ ಕ್ಣನಬ ೇಠ !
ಸದಾಸಂಹತನಾಗಿ ಶರಣ ಂಬುವುದು, ನ ೂೇಂಬುವುದು .
ಜಂಗಮನಾಚಮನ ಯಮಾಟ್ ಕ್ೂಡಲ್ಸಂಗಮನನ ೂೇಟ್ !
If at the early hour of dawn if you lovingly remember Linga,
You will avert the sudden death, Death and all the karmas too!
To worship God it means, the bondage of your sins will cease!
O Shambu, that look of you is a never-failing bait of eyes!
Always be close to Him, Bend low to Him, and believe in Him,
To worship Jangama is to be one with Kudalasangama!
